  • Work with departmental managers and clients to determine hiring needs
  • Create job descriptions based on departmental needs
  • Advertise open positions using recruiting websites, professional associations, the firm’s website and social media accounts, employee memos, and other locations as appropriate
  • Review candidates’ cover letters and resumes
  • Build and maintain detailed pipeline/database of active and passive candidates using various sources, including internet databases, social media, contact lists, internal databases, job boards, and employee referrals
  • Conduct pre-screenings and coordinate in-person or Skype interviews
  • Conduct follow-up communication with candidates, including offering/declining employment
  • Ensure each candidate has a positive experience with our company (whether they are hired or not)
  • Oversee campus recruiting efforts, including
    • Scheduling and attending job fairs and “meet the firm” events
    • Coordinating the firm’s college summer leadership program, including scheduling speakers, planning events, and recruiting, screening, and selecting candidates to participate
    • Conducting follow-up communications with potential candidates after events and interviews

Firm Events

  • Coordinate and execute several firm-wide events, including holiday and birthday celebrations and Kraft Young Professionals Group (KYPG) events
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown; handle other logistics before, during, and after events

Promotional Materials

  • Keep up-to-date inventory of giveaway items and printed materials
  • Order new or additional giveaway items or printed materials as needed
  • Assemble packets and goodie bags for recruiting events


  • Two to four years of HR/recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience with recruiting for professional services positions a plus
  • Previous event planning experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Impeccable organizational skills; can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight/direction
  • Ability to
    • follow verbal and written instructions
    • complete special projects or other duties as assigned
    • use a PC and widely-used software packages, especially Word and Excel
    • learn new software as necessary
    • lift and maneuver items up to 50 pounds

Work Environment & Time Requirements

  • Hourly position
  • Generally an eight-hour workday
  • Occasional extended working hours required for variations in work volume or early-morning/after-hours events
  • Occasional travel required for job fairs/campus events
