As a valued member of the assurance services team, this position will consist of a variety of functions, including:

  • Proofing, editing, and processing client-facing documents, including engagement letters, financial statements, and reports
  • Maintaining and updating templates for various documents in several programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and internal industry-specific systems
  • Distributing communications to clients; collecting return communications and distributing to the appropriate staff
  • Maintaining and organizing both electronic and hardcopy databases and files
  • Completing new client onboarding/renewal activities
  • Running reports on several departmental performance metrics
  • Maintaining calendar reminders for various activities
  • Coordinating logistics (such as registration, lodging, and travel) for various online and in-person events, including client engagements and continuing education courses
  • Assisting with logistics and preparation for internal firm events, such as educational seminars and staff meetings
  • Assisting with departmental onboarding tasks and paperwork for new staff
  • Conducting research on various topics and assisting with the preparation of educational articles and presentations
  • Tracking expenditures and reconciling monthly credit card statements
  • Completing other tasks as assigned

Essential Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent grammar and written communication skills
  • Ability to use a PC and widely-used software packages, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook (Word and Excel testing required)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Extremely high level of detail orientation (critical skillset for this position)
  • Experience with reviewing/proofing documents
  • Ability to learn our business in order to effectively support the management team
