Our temporary “no contact” office policy and what it means
As guidance and restrictions in response to the COVID-19 crisis evolve, access to our physical office buildings is becoming increasingly limited. We are now implementing a temporary “no contact” office policy.
Our updated guidelines and preferred methods of communications are as follows:
Ongoing communication: Our professionals are available via email and phone to continue to serve you. Many of our team members are now working remotely. Our receptionist will continue to answer phones and direct your call to the appropriate person. Please leave a voicemail if your call is unanswered.
Client appointments: All in-person client appointments have been canceled and should now be conducted via phone, email, or videoconference.
How to provide us your tax or other pertinent documents
Secure portal link: This is our preferred method. Email your primary contact at KraftCPAs and request a secure portal link. We will send you a link in an email that allows you to safely upload sensitive information directly into our system. If you do not have an email address for your KraftCPAs primary contact, please contact our receptionist at (615) 242-7351.
Drop off: If you do not have access to a scanner, you may mail or drop off documents at our offices. Please include notes on your paperwork to communicate with your accountant any pertinent info regarding your documents.
- For the Nashville office, we have a secure drop box available by the front door to deposit your documents. You may also place your documents on a table located in our lobby. In accordance with social distancing guidance, our receptionist will remain 6 feet from clients dropping off documents at our office. Our receptionist will retrieve your documents, then scan and electronically transmit them to your accountant. This is for the safety of our clients and our team.
- For the Columbia and Lebanon offices, please contact them directly to make arrangements for dropping off documents.
Document delivery: KraftCPAs will electronically send your tax return or financial statement via ShareFile. This is accessible across all platforms: computer, smartphone, or tablet, and it allows you to sign electronically when needed. If you are unable to access email to receive documents electronically, please let your accountant know so that a paper copy can be prepared and mailed to you. Your original documents will be mailed to you, or you can pick them up once our office is fully functioning.
