KraftCPAs is proud to announce that Nancy Mullen, an assurance services senior manager, was named the winner of the 2016 Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELAs) in the financial services category. The awards, which were held on August 4 at Lipscomb University, are presented annually by YP Nashville and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce to “recognize Nashville’s young professionals for significant accomplishments in their chosen career fields, as well as their commitment and contribution to the community.” Nancy has been a NELAs finalist for three consecutive years and was also named to the Nashville Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2015.
Nancy’s involvement includes Clarksville Young Professionals, Susan G. Komen Greater Nashville (former board treasurer), Operation Stand Down Tennessee (board treasurer) and Gold Star Wives of America. As a result of her experience as a military widow, Nancy is involved with Fort Campbell’s Casualty Notification/Casualty Assistance Officers’ training and the Ft. Campbell Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) conference. She also works extensively on legislative issues affecting military surviving families on the national and state level.
