Myles joined KraftCPAs Turnaround & Restructuring Group in February 2007 and works exclusively in the areas of financial and operational restructures and turnarounds, bankruptcy, and litigation support. His 27 years of professional work includes management of both creditors and debtors in distressed situations, restructures and recoveries in foreign and US jurisdictions, and operating roles in a wide range of industry structures and cultures.

Myles was formerly a senior vice president and group manager of FINOVA Capital Corporation and managing director of FINOVA Mezzanine Capital. In these positions he was responsible for the recovery of a $1.2 billion portfolio of distressed, high risk assets. He directly led the post-9/11 turnaround of FINOVA's aviation finance business and the restructure of Mezzanine Capital upon FINOVA's emergence from bankruptcy, and supervised the liquidation of the company's portfolio of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.

Before starting his financial services career as a workout officer in mezzanine finance, Myles worked in financial management in consumer non-durables, manufacturing, transportation services, and oil exploration and production businesses. He has served as CFO, controller, financial planning manager and analyst at corporate, business unit and operating entity levels in enterprises ranging from $20 million to $5 billion in revenue. A significant portion of this experience was in underperforming and distressed operations.

Myles is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), and the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI). He serves on the board of the Mental Health Cooperative Foundation.

Myles received a BA in economics from Davidson College and an MBA, as a Dean's Scholar, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He attended Davidson on a ROTC scholarship and served for four years on active duty in the United States Army as an armor officer in a variety of troop leadership and staff positions in Germany. His professional certifications include certified public accountant (CPA), insolvency and restructuring advisor (CIRA) and a specialty designation as certified in financial forensics.
