Kevin leads KraftCPAs' turnaround and restructuring services. He assists clients in a variety of industries with turnaround management, restructuring, and related services, including acquisition due diligence and forensic accounting. His clients include public and private operating companies, commercial and investment banks, law firms, and nonprofits. He has advised debtors, creditors, and customers in domestic and international insolvency matters.

Kevin began his career in San Francisco at the accounting practice of Coopers & Lybrand and later advanced to senior management roles for distressed manufacturing, healthcare, and technology companies where he was involved in numerous turnaround and business combination projects.

In recent years, a significant component of Kevin's representation has pertained to the automotive supply industry where he has been involved in over 100 bankruptcy and distressed supplier matters, including large global cases where activities have spanned multiple countries. The latest US economic downturn has also escalated his representations in the areas of energy-intensive manufacturers, homebuilders, and retailers.

Kevin was an independent director of Yak Communications (NASDAQ: YAKC), recently taken private, where his responsibilities included chairing the compensation committee and advising on the acquisition of troubled competitors.

Kevin chairs the Tennessee Turnaround Management Association and is a former chair of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce's International Business Council. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American College of Forensic Examiners, the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Nonprofit activities include board service for the Nashville-area American Red Cross, Crisis Intervention Center, Adventure Science Center, Historic Nashville, and Vanderbilt University business school alumni.

Kevin is an adjunct faculty member of the Vanderbilt University Law School teaching applied accounting topics such as financial reporting, valuation, and strategies for financial investigations.

Kevin received a BS in accounting from the University of Kentucky and a MBA from Vanderbilt University. Professional certifications include public accountant (CPA), certified in financial forensics (CFF), forensic accountant (Cr.FA), insolvency and restructuring advisor (CIRA), and distressed business valuation analyst (CDBV).
